Your first step to becoming a Taproots family is to schedule a tour with Teacher Summer at the Nest, our garden location in Richmond Beach
Each child’s sense of wildness and relatedness is celebrated and strengthened through engaging all their senses in imaginative play, mindful observation, nature journaling, risk-taking, and communication with themselves, each other, and the natural world.
Social and emotional literacy is developed through restorative practices. Community service projects, along with multi-generational guest teachers and multi-cultural wisdom, lay the groundwork for young children’s sense of belonging and responsibility within our richly diverse human community.
Music and storytelling. Art and journaling. Design and building. Moving and making messes. Through a multiplicity of mediums, children share and process their questions, ideas and discoveries, while building skills that will guide their next steps in their learning journeys.
